Be Willing to Feel Everything
The key to having the life you want is to FEEL your emotions. Be willing to feel sad, frustrated, fearful, anger, regret, shame, disgusted, deprived….
But why, when it’s easier to just push them away?
If we didn’t get to experience the lows, we would never know how great it is to be at the top of our emotions. It’s through processing these lows that we realize we don’t want to live in this state of emotion all the time. Believe it or not, these lows can give us the energy and motivate ourselves to make some changes.
But it isn’t about being more positive all the time. It’s about learning and growing during those lows. Our best lessons in life come from the lows and it’s where we learn the most about ourselves. It is about learning how to live in both the highs and lows.
I felt like I hit rock bottom with my physical health and my emotions during the pandemic. I know so many of you did as well. It sucked. It sucked really bad.
Hitting that low taught me I don’t ever want to go back there.
Hitting that low taught me I needed help and that it was ok to ask for it.
Being willing to feel those emotions and process them led me into a world of happiness, peace and compassion that I thought was out of reach. That’s the power of being willing to feel your emotions.
